When working with raw materials extracted from nature, we must be very careful. Here at Terramater we never mistreat or extract more than nature can give us. We conserve, inspect and ask for permission to use this so powerful actives that clay minerals are. Here we understand that we work with gold and this conclusion is only reaffirmed with each proof of our effectiveness tests.

In this text we will let you know about our Terramater care for the environment. We are proud to inform you that our process does not generate any destructive waste for nature, on the contrary, all of our waste we revert into large partnerships. One of them is Panaceia, a program here in Itajaí (SC), our hometown, they developed a workshop where our waste was used as an input for bioconstruction.

The University of Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI is another partner, they created an environmental education project, Terrarte, where children learned about clays through natural paints made with clay. All of these projects are extremely important, as our aim is to disseminate the power of our assets in different areas.

We have a recurring concern about suppliers. We work with some mining companies and our quality sector is always visiting and investigating the mine recovery areas and whether the extraction is done in an environmentally friendly manner. As well as the way the company is concerned with environmental issues, we want suppliers that are aligned with our values.

Certifications are also on our radar, we want our process to always be based on the rules and qualifications of the certifiers. We currently have certificates: ECOCERT and COSMOS, Eu Reciclo, FSC, Zero Waste and Somos Feliz. We are in compliance with the Halal and Kosher seals. We like to see if our suppliers also have certificates, this gives us confidence in the partnership we are forming.

Our mission as a company is to transform natural actives into wealth in a conscious and sustainable way. However, our actions are not restricted only outside the company. We work for awareness and alignment of actions internally as well. We created a training schedule with topics such as: finance, health, communication, environment, organizational system, among others. Another internal action is recycling throughout the company, all waste is made the correct destination.

The environment is the wealth of our planet, without it we are nothing, it is our duty to watch over and protect. That is why Terramater spares no effort to make a difference, from our qualification as a company to the learning offered to our employees. When we take a stand and take action, we gradually transform our surroundings.
